distance between KACHEGUDA railway station and hyderabad deccan?

i am taking a train from hyderabad deccan @ 6:25 am and connecting train from bangalore to KACHEGUDA will reach KACHEGUDA @ 5:30

can i reach on time @ the hyderabad deccan station. please tell me the mode of transportation i should use.and how much time and it will take,

As per the Southern Railways Time-Table , Table no. 31 and 31A , The distance between Secunderabad and Kacheguda stations is 8 Km.
